Das Spannelement Typ SE‑W wurde für Anwendungen in Temperaturbereichen von +80 °C bis +120 °C (+180 °F bis +250 °F) entwickelt, beispielsweise als Riemenspanner für Dieselmotoren, als Kettenspanner in Trocknern oder für Riemenabstreifer in heißer Umgebung.
