ROSTA-Schwingungsdämpfer Typ AW sind für die wirksame Absorption mittel- und niederfrequenter Schwingungen entwickelt. In den meisten Anwendungen werden sie als abgestimmtes Paar aus AW R und AW L eingesetzt. Diese Anordnung führt schwingende Maschinenteile präzise linear und sorgt für einen ruhigen, kontrollierten Betrieb auch bei dynamischer Belastung. Die Elemente arbeiten wartungsfrei und sind für den robusten Industrieeinsatz ausgelegt: wasser- und schmutzbeständig, temperaturfest von -40 °C bis +80 °C und dauerhaft zuverlässig. Die Gehäuse besteht aus Aluminium, das Innenteil aus Stahl; die Komponenten sind blau lackiert. AW-Elemente eignen sich als robuste Dämpfungs- und Schwingungslagerung. Bei Bedarf unterstützt ROSTA die anwendungsspezifische Auslegung, etwa für Schwingarm-Paare gemäß Kapitel „Geführte Schwingsysteme“ oder für den Einsatz als Impact-Lagerung.
ROSTA AW-type vibration dampers are designed for the effective absorption of medium- and low-frequency vibrations. In most applications, they are used as a matched pair consisting of AW R and AW L. This configuration guides vibrating machine components in a precise, linear manner and ensures smooth, controlled operation even under dynamic loads. The elements are maintenance-free and designed for rugged industrial use: water- and dirt-resistant, temperature-resistant from -40 °C to +80 °C, and consistently reliable. The housing is made of aluminum, the inner part of steel; the components are painted blue. AW elements are suitable as robust damping and vibration mounts. If required, ROSTA supports application-specific design, for example for pairs of swing arms as described in the chapter “Guided Vibration Systems” or for use as impact mounts.
