适用于带0.75至4.0 kW（支架尺寸90 S/L至112 M）电机的小型皮带传动的理想标准化电机底座。这种底座交货时已完全组装好。由于其极其紧凑的外形尺寸，MB 27型可以安装在任何地方，无需任何重大的设计更改。

因此，MB 27型是过时的非自动张力轨的理想替代选择。带左右螺纹的预紧装置提供了较大的定位范围，可更好地适应传动小齿轮的操作角度。所有钢制零件均涂有蓝色底漆。
