对于同样紧凑的设计，AB-D比AB具有更高的承载能力。荷载作用下的线性弹簧挠度仍然足以确保该振荡装置具有约3.2 Hz的相对较低的固有频率。在约16 Hz的振动器或波频率下，这足以使隔振效率达到约95%。与ROSTA的所有筛分机一样，AB-D的特性有助于筛分机的线性振荡运动。以控制方式通过共振时无需横向导向装置；支座横向稳定。这种低成本的振荡装置为所有未安装在“离地”较高的筛选平台或钢结构的设备提供了足够的隔振效果。

装置将通过直接用螺栓将钢支架安装到筛分机和支撑结构上。
尺寸AB-D 18至AB-D 45的双橡胶悬挂装置的外壳为铝型材，三种尺寸的AB 50则为球墨铸铁。
